I think the show does ask for medical information, but some people have just not mentioned it because they don't think it's important (which is WRONG!). Donna from Season 4 was removed from the show when she told Andrew she had heart problems that she didn't mention earlier.

Yeah they do ask people to list health problems and medications but by law they're not allowed access to the person's medical history so they're working off the honour system. The problem with this is it's people who have habitually lied to be able to retain their license so said system is going to fall flat.

It could be that she did tell the pre-show interviewers that she takes medication to help her focus and they thought she had it with her.
