Hm. Start with flax, go to:
Linen (clothing, bandaging, sailcloth, rope, etc etc).
Furniture polish (linseed - aka flaxseed oil).
Putty (linseed oil).
Essential fatty acid food supplement (flaxseed oil - why not call it linseed oil?).
Food (flaxseed).
Floristry (flax flowers and foliage).
Paper (from linen cloth).
Linoleum (from linseed oil).
Paint (from linseed oil).
Cattle/animal feed (seeds mainly, but possibly foliage as well).
Herbal medicine.
Modern medicine (under research for cholesterol lowering, treatment of some cancers, diabetic blood sugar levelling, laxative effects).Seshat's self-help guide:
