This is HILARIOUS to us.
At my work, there are only two staff: me and my coordinator. We do occasionally bring in casuals when one of us is sick and when that happens, I'm acting coordinator. We do get parents who ask us about one thing or another or about enrolments.
What makes it hilarious, is that around 85% of the time, the parents will either ignore or bypass my coordinator to talk to me. When this happens, I tend to do one of three things:
-Answer the question (I can handle anything barring enrolments)
-Double-check with the coordinator.
-Send the parent to the coordinator.
It's now getting to ridiculous levels, so I'm going to start keeping a running tally of this.
