I live in Shreveport RIGHT next to the parade route for our two biggest krewes. Gets real annoying if you need to do anything the two Saturdays before Mardi Gras. I went the first year we moved in, watched my drunk friend get into fight with another drunk and get her face all scratched up, and kinda lost my taste for Mardi Gras after that.
