WEll, I'm proud to say that our hotel has been voted #1 in the area online and I have to give a shoutout!
The other hotel that I used to work at is rated #16. And I can see the difference...in everything.

Here: Customers actually smile and wave as they pass by.

There: Never.

Here: I have good coworkers. A bit weird, but better than...

There: Ms. Useless, Ms. Entitled, Ms. Always Late rings a bell? Definitely. Brr. Brrrrrrr.

Here: NO movies, no bar. For at least half a mile away!

There: Movies BS, Bar next door. Ugh.

Here: Managers are direct, supportive, and kind. Except for the sales manager =P

There: Manager were...ok, but not supportive. And I wouldn't say kind. A bit weird to be honest...

Here: Free buffet....twice.

There: Free buffet....once.

Here: Free abundant parking. Oh yeah there are miracles!

THere: No parking...except for compacts.

Here: 24 hour delivery of extra sheets, pillow, blankets if available.

There: 8 hr

Here: Rooms are 3 times bigger...and more...with fridge and microwave.

There: 3 times smaller, no fridge no microwave.

Here: Nighttime security that is actually not afraid to punch out unrulies

There: No one to deal with unrulies.

Here: 24 hr snack shop.

There: Vending machine that ate money sometimes.

Here: NO complimentary items.

There: Free complimentary items.


So there you have it. The only thing There has better than here is....free items....uh...and location....that's is I think!

I guess people rather have bigger rooms than free items! Huh. Who'd had thought????
Then again, who'd have thought there such a thing as a good hotel to work for???
