ok, so i closed alone last night, and i had a brain fart. i forgot to leave a key out for a guest checking in to a cabin. they called, got the reservation service who actually did something RIGHT for a change and called the owner, who called my co-worker, who ran down and got a key out for them. so they were inconvenienced, but not HORRIBLY so... it was my mistake, and i admit that. i screwed up. crap happens.
however.... i don't know if it was done on purpose as retaliation, or if they had a kid who did it because kids are kids and do strange things sometimes, or WTF happened... but they apparently decided to use the trash can in the cabin as a urinal.
yes, we charged them a cleaning fee. i expect at some point in the near future we'll get an irate call demanding to know why we charged them more money.
