    And make a profit

    Quoth sirwired View Post
    Hmmmm.... what to do? Either:

    A) Give the customer hundreds of dollars in credits in order to retain their "valuable" business. In return, they'll continue to call for any little reason, and waste everyone's time being a general pain in the tuchus.

    B) Tell the customer to take a hike, thereby causing the business to forgo a profit all of $30 or so per year. In return, the business won't have to talk to you any more.

Hmmm... somebody hasn't thought this through.
Plus in the long run the company makes more profit since the books no long show all the credit backs that were done the old way.

The company I worked for saw a huge increase in it's profits once it go rid of or demanded payment up front first from the customers who were costing money because of the favours the sales-people were doing for them.
