I've been playing EQ on a progression server. I'm in a casual raiding guild.
There has been a GM monitored rotation set up due to shenanigans by some of the top raiding guilds, to get on the rotation you have to kill certain gatekeepers... which were beefed up when that announcement was made.(Due to mage armies.)
DBG has finally listened and in a day or 2 a patch is going in making mage armies MUCH less powerful and reducing difficulty on the raid mobs.
Last night my guild took on the last needed gatekeeper to get on the rotation... While it's still insanely hard!
We can kill dragons and gods now!
