  • Heads up! Experian Data Breach affects T-Mobile

Credit reporting agency Experian reports it has experienced a data breach. Stolen data includes some 15 Million T-Mobile customers and prospective customers who applied for service between September 1, 2013 and September 16, 2015.

    Please see http://www.experian.com/data-breach/t-mobilefacts.html for more.

I've been with T-Mo for far longer but I THINK I switched to post-paid within that time period, and I know I signed up my mom. I've signed both me and mom up for the credit monitoring.

I'm bracing myself. I work for a data security vendor and Experian is one of our customers... Here's hoping that like the Target breach it had nothing to do with us...

    I'm glad I haven't had T-Mobile since years ago.
