    Sister Has New Kitties

    Sadly, my sister's cat died recently after living for 18 years. After a month, she decides to adopt two young cats, an 8-month-old white female and a year-old blonde male.

    Hopefully, I will be able to meet her new kitties soon.

    They're both beautiful. Love that pic of the two of them together.

    Undoubtedly she was heartbroken to lose her old friend, but it's good for her to get new ones.

      Reminds me of some of the kitties I've met at the shelter I volunteer in.

        After my 12-year-old Maine Coon, Kitty, died in 2007, I had a white cat for awhile. I found Snow, a very fluffy 2-year-old at a shelter. She'd spent a lot of time at the shelter...because she was deaf. She wasn't "perfect" in other words. A shame really, since she was very sweet. Here she is, on her favorite chair. Sadly, she died in 2008.

          These are pictures of the cat that had recently passed away. He had defied the odds. His litter mate (also pictured) didn't survive his first year.
