How do you price handmade stuff?

    Yup. On occasion I'll make some Native-style chokers and I always use real materials (bone, horn, glass, metal, etc). Plastic just doesn't look right. Not expensive if I order the beads from dad's neck of the woods, but not dirt cheap when you factor in shipping and weight. Usually I wait until I'm traveling out that way and buy then (I'm paying for my suitcase anyway so...).

    I used to list the chokers on Fleabay, but would constantly get offers for $5 because "I see these chokers at walmart/hot topic for $5 so you should sell them for that if you expect to make any money"...and one lovely specimen who threatened to report me for selling "fake Indian jewelry" (to be honest I was kinda waiting for them to try and actually had a friend who knew the relevant laws ready to craft a response)
