At the hobbyshop, we have a sign that says(and I quote):
THIS HOBBYSHOP
DOES NOT
Permit The Use Of
HEELYS OR OTHER ROLLER SHOES
This is a STORE not a skatepark.
We are not responsible for any injuries from
such confusion and we reserve the right to ask violators to leave.
A grandfather read that sign and made his grandson take the wheels out of his shoes.
A father read that sign and then told his son to read it. The son asked, "Well, can I do it anyway?" The father replied, "No! Can't you read, boy?!"
I was so happy that there are people out there who teach their children that they aren't the center of the world and to show proper respect for others.
