stop me if you've heard this before...
You've heard of the people who say all their exes turn gay after they break up? Well, all mine get engaged.
Last night, the ex called me 4 times in 6 minutes. Never left a message. When I got ahold of him this morning, he said he just wanted to say hi...and that he's getting married. O...K...why am I supposed to care?
I honestly congratulate him and wish him good luck and happiness, but I honestly don't care.
It takes me back to a few months after D and I broke up, he told me he was engaged. Exactly one week later, he told me that "she's no longer a part of my life."
My stalker informed me last year that he was engaged, but then they broke it off. A few months ago, he told me he was engaged again (to someone else), and they wanted me to be maid of honor.

Guys tend to go for the rebound person a lot harder than women do. My brother in law is pretty much trapped in a relationship now because he had to reclaim his manliness with an ex-girlfriend after he got divorced. Now he's stuck being a baby daddy because he just had to get "back in the saddle".

I've had the same effect on guys. I always seem to be the girl before the one they get serious with, which is ok with me, as I often date losers.
I'm currently working on finding one worth keeping for myself, instead of passing along to someone more desperate.

I've got a pretty bad track record when it comes to asking girls out. The first three girls I asked out were lesbians. It gets better, #1 was dating #3 a few months ago. I have gotten two girlfriends, both now Exes. I guess I'm just so bad that they go gay even before they meet me, kind of as a defense mechanism

Seriously (or not), find a married man or two. See what THEY come up with.

He really wanted you to react to the news by breaking into tears and begging him to take you back.
Guess that didn't happen, huh?
(And just for the record, I had an ex-boyfriend run off to join the rodeo after we broke up. Honest to god - the rodeo.)

I was seeing a guy whose last ex went lesbian. I asked him flat out "Did she say it was because of you?" He said no. Then I said "It wasn't you."
He still doesn't believe me to this day.
Maybe she lied, maybe she didn't......the way I figure it, it may take some people more time than others to realize that they are gay.

I called him to tell him congrats and that I wish him luck, etc. He answered the phone, snapped "What?!?!" and hung up on me. Really takes me back.
