Heh...A lady had had her doctor call in a new script to one of the other stores in my chain yesterday, but she wanted it filled at ours. She also wanted to transfer all of her scripts from a competitor to us.
Well, in the process of retrieving the script from the other store's database, the computer crashed and totally ate her prescription!
It wasn't in her profile at the other store anymore, so I couldn't re-retrieve it.
As suavely as I could, I asked her who the doctor was on that script, told her it would be about 20 minutes to fill ,and once she was out of earshot, I called the doctor's office and had them call me in a fresh one.
The patient was none the wiser, though. Whew!
