Jobs I quit without realizing it.

My former supervisor at the casino Kitchen in edmonton I think did it on purpose. He seemed to like beating me down (He was the one who made me cry repeatedly during my six months of hell there, remember).

I'd go away for two days on scheduled days off. When I came back: Anne, I heard you quit! *with a smirk*


This time, it happened by accident.

I went into the Petstore and D, one of the supervisors (who I swear doesnt look more than fifteen. She's very mature though, so I could be wrong. If not, well, wont be the first time I've been under someone younger than me. The other night nobody could do an adoption at the Pet store cause nobody BUT me was over 18 - and I wasn't trained! The people came by the next day though ).

Anyways, she looked surprised "I thought you quit!"

And lifted a note that said" Horse Tuna (first and last name) quit.

I was surprised, as was she. Apparently another girl who had a name that sounded like me - Elaina or something had quit, and the girl who took the message thought it was me.

Anyways, we had a good chuckle, including the girl who took the message. I told her it wasn't the first time I had quit a job without knowing it.

When I was working at Walmart, I called in because I was in no shape to go in. Well when I went back, a few people thought I quit.

Apparently, a few people thought that I quit my current job.

Why?

I was on vacation for 19 days.

They were happy to know that I hadn't.

(And yesterday, Oct. 5, was my four year anniversary at the store.)

Some people thought one of my co-workers quit, in reality she's on maternity leave.
