Well, tonight we have a truck...we are scheduled for 4 of them this week, while most other stores are getting only 2 or 3. I was hoping they'd be smaller trucks, but last night's was 1300 cartons.
Anyhow, tonight's truck had better be a small one, because I only get to work on it for 2 hours. For the rest of the night I have to work on a different project. My company just rolled out some brand new cash registers in a couple of stores, and now they're being installed in my store tonight. So I have to help the techs unpack the new registers.
The stupid thing is, tomorrow night we have no truck. Had we waited until tomorrow to install the new registers, we would have lots of room to get them unpacked. Instead, they are all crammed upstairs and we'll have no room to work with them or move them downstairs. I am hoping they will have the registers downstairs when I come in, but there's no place to put them downstairs except in the unload area, and we have to unload a truck there.
I guess we'll chalk this up as "if it makes sense, it's not allowed."
