Default Hypocrite!

So this morning I am shopping with my Mother, its her 50th Birthday this week and we need decorations for the bbq for 2 weekends away. Its a happy occasion and we have just had breakfast out its a good day.

My mother is currently waiting for a double knee replacement and can barely walk. She walks with canes and is legally disabled. Because of this she has a mobility parking pass. This means she can pack in the mobility (handicap park).

Now I have a firely temper, it's hard to get me angry but when I am watch out!

I hope out of the car and a woman walks past me, and opens the door of her car, also in a mobility park and 2 seconds later I hear this....

me- me
AHB - absolute hypocritical bitch

AHB: *snork* EXCUSE ME your not disabled (she says this loud enough that people stopped and looked around, so she was obviously trying to shame me out)

I turn around and check whos shes talking to, then I realise, its ME!!!

me: excuse me? what did you say?
AHB: wheres your parking pass?
me: I dont see how thats any of your business, but if you would shut your trap and open your eyes you would see its on the dash
AHB: ok calm down, but you hardly look disabled
me: No IM NOT BUT MY MOTHER IS IF YOU WOULD TAKE TWO DAMN SECONDS TO LOOK (go mum!)

AHB: your so rude, whatever
me: (I look at her car, parked in a mobility park and see NO FREAKING PASS) OH AND WHERE THE F*** is your pass BY THE WAY

AHB: we have one, we have one WE HAVE ONE
me: then maybe you should have it DISPLAYED , where is it then
AHB: we dont have it with us but WE HAVE ONE

- then I walk into the store because if I stay any longer I was going to say something really bad.

She then started on my mother

AHB: (to my mum) you should teach her some manners
Mum: she has perfect manners for those who deserve them, maybe you should take your own advice and get some manners for yourself, oh by the way where IS YOUR mobility pass?

at this point the woman mutterd "bitches" and got into her mobility passless car, where no one "looked" disabled.....

It steamed me for the rest of the day!!!!
I dont usually get attacked for no reason, who the hell is she to police the world... if she had stopped for two seconds and LOOKED at the dash she could have avoided confrontation. But no she had to ruin my and my mothers day.

Dont you just love people who think they are the worlds morale police. Even better when they are breaking the rules themselves!!!!

That's when I'd whip out my cell phone, call the towing company (whose number is required to be on the local placards) and report her car.

What's really sad is (and I know this may be speculation) when I see cars out and about that look like typical "grandma/grandpa" cars with a handicapped tag, and then I see a carload of teenagers in it, they park in the handicapped spot, get out, and run into the stores.

Every time I go to the mall, I see something like this. Some stupid little assholes take advantage of their parent/grandparents' disability and go joy riding in their car with the disabled tag and park in the closest spot to the door, then proceed to run and skip inside. RRRR! I want to slap them all!

Yes, I know some people my age who drive Buicks and Mercury Grand Marquis, but it just seems a little weird when you see carloads of teenagers in such cars with disabled tags, yet all of them are hyper as hyenas and none of them appear disabled.

I can still clearly recall the day that I got chewed out for parking in a handicapped spot because I was with my handicapped little sister. The handicapped tag was clearly hanging from the rear-view mirror for all too see.

But some fuckwit, upon seeing the size of my sister's wheelchair and just how small my sister is, started freaking out on us. Why? Because they felt that we didn't rate a handicapped spot due to how little my sister is. Let me see, we need the room for her to properly move herself from her seat into the wheelchair...and it certainly takes more space than a regular parking spot.

We pointed this little fact out to the cow that was screaming at this, but it did no good. If anything it just made the woman angrier. She said that there was no reason that we couldn't set up my sister's wheelchair at the back of the car and then carry her to it. I completely lost it at this point. I told Miss Thing were to go and didn't mince anywords about it.

Her response? "In my day, children like THAT wouldn't be allowed in public."

I almost hit her for it, but then realized that hitting an old woman with her own cane probably wouldn't have been a good idea. No matter how badly they deserved it.

From what I can tell from the OP your mom did not get out of the car. Is this correct? If so I can see the point of not using up a handicapped parking space if the person who is handicapped is not getting out of the car. However this does not excuse the rudeness of the lady either.

EDIT: I really can't tell in reading this a few times over if your mom was walking with you, or waiting in the car while you went into the store In any case the point I want to make still stand, if your mom was not walking into the store with you then I can see some small reason to complain, but again that lady really just needs to get a clue.

My mum was walking into the store, shes slow, she can barely walk, I hadnt even taken two steps when this women verbally attacked me. My mum was on the other side of the car getting out, trying to reach for her canes while this woman started on me.

She couldnt wait two freaking seconds to understand the situation before she made a snap judgement. She didnt ask in a nice way to check she started straight on trying to publicly shame me for something I wasnt doing.

I usually go in and get a trolley for her to lean on so she doesnt have to use her cans and feel normal when she walks around the store.

my point is, this woman took it upon herself to police someone who legally had a right to be there, while she didnt legally have a right herself. Thats hypocritical.

if we go in my car, I drop my mum at the entrance, the only time we use the moblity park is when shes feeling good enough to drive

we shouldn't be accosted while shopping and made to feel angry/upset because some bitch takes it upon herself to police the world

people have enough to deal with, being disabled, they dont need to me shouted at and upset. My mum had actually had some bad news from her doctors the day before, we were out shopping to cheer her up

and that uppity cow just had to say her piece and ruin it.....

Sounds just like that fuckwit Kusanagi dealt with. Maybe they're related.
