Thinking about going back to school...

So I'm thinking about getting my bachelors in Game Design and Development from a local college here. I just asked for a catalog and more info to be sent. I'm really hoping that they'll have something to work around my schedule. Unfortunately every other graphics, animation and game design courses I've looked into around here have sucky class schedules. I work full time...I cannot be in class at noon on a Wednesday, sorry. I must eat.

From what I can see the courses look great, covering everything from the technological aspect to story-writing and -boarding, game development, graphics design, and promotion.

The missus and I just finished night classes for our CCNA. 32 weeks, Tuesdays and Thursdays at night. Go for it, it is a blast to be back in school! If you do find some classes you like/need at night, let the instructor know what you are looking to get out of it. Often, they a re looking to expand the night courses and just need confirmed seats to be able to convince the registrar that it is a viable (paying) option. That is how we got CCNA 3 and 4 classes at our local CC, by signing up for 1 and then agreeing and signing up (and paying) for 2,3, and 4 as soon as they offered. Where else can you get all training, Cisco certified with live instructor, for $450 - $500?

Extra-special good luck as well. I finished my BA whilst working and am working on a paralegal certificate now (still working). It ain't easy, but it feels great when you realize you did it.
