Is August Insane Customer month or something??

Talk about paranoid. I was ringing this woman up who was acting perfectly normal until my supervisor came over and started laoding her bags into her cart for her. Now, she does this all the time, regardless of age, race, or skin color. All of the supervisors come around and start loading bags in. It's called trying to help out. Well, this particular guest was not exactly appreciative:

Guest: "I can load my own bags into my cart! You know, I feel like you're STALKING ME! Every time I come in this place, you're following me, WATCHING me."

Supervisor: *stunned* ".....N-No! I'm not...I was just..."

Guest: "It's OFFENSIVE, it's ANNOYING, it's (some long word that I've never even heard before), etc. etc. etc.

Is it really bad that my first reaction was 'if you sound it out I bet I can guess'?
