  • Good news!

As most of you know, I have been unemployed for about a month now. At the beginning of my "vacation", I filled out an application for a craft store that wasn't hiring, but I really wanted to work there anyway so I figured they would call me eventually. And they have! I go in for an interview today at 4:30!

The interviewer told me to dress casual. That seems awkward to me. I've NEVER dressed casual for an interview. I don't want to show up in dress slacks because he told me NOT to dress all formal, but I don't want to show up in jeans either!

So, I think I'll wear my blue, floral skirt, a black knit tee, and some awesome brown tights that match my skirt. I'll finish this ensemble with my black shoes. They kinda look like loafers, I think.

    Anyway, wish me luck!!!

Thanks, me too! I have a good feeling about this interview!

Why they would want to hire me:

      -I live 5 minutes away.
-What do I do for fun? Crafts.
-I've done near abouts EVERYTHING they sell there.
-I've worked in a hobbyshop before for 2 years. I know how to specialize.
-I've worked retail for over 4 years.
-I WANT this job. I don't just need the job, I WANT to work there.

So, yeah. Hopefully I'll get hired today.

Crono: sounds like the machine update became a clusterf*ck..
pedersen: No. A clusterf*ck involves at least one pleasurable thing (the orgasm at the end).

Good for you GP! First order of business? Change your user name description from 'Unemployed.'

lol! I totally forgot about that! I need to change it! Forgive me everyone, I'm having a celebratory drink with my neighbor and I'm a bit...er..."smashed".

It's taking me forever to type this with no problems.
