Can I haz kitten nayme halp?
For this little ball of fluff.

She's about 8 weeks old (will find out for sure tomorrow, I forgot to ask today) and already exploring here. Totally fascinated by my fingers on my laptop right now! Into everything, has some sass and purrs like a motorboat. A little more yellow/orange to her than the photos show, and she's got circle/targets on her sides and then a few orange stripes that run neck-tail on her back.
Big "sister" Lilly isn't too pleased, to put it mildly. It's going to be a long week or two. I got a Feliway defuser - I've heard many good things about it, so it better work considering the price tag! The munchkin currently will be in a rabbit cage when I'm not supervising so they can smell each other but she's not physically in any danger. Which my legs currently are in, considering the tiny needle-like claws and teeth she has!
So anyway, she needs a name. I was hoping for a little boy to name Hobbes but the males were black cats, which I didn't want. Obviously I have Lilly but I don't want to go with a flower thing so Daisy, Iris, etc are out. I've thought about Shenanigans n.n. Ginny but I'm not sold on that.
Help! Suggestions?

I can't think of anything at the moment, but she's adorable and I wanna squeeze her.
I went by the cat adoption center at PetSmart the other day and there was a trio of sisters named Phoebe, Piper and Pru (the sisters from Charmed). I felt bad though cuz Piper was the only one left; the others had been adopted already.

Seeing those pics makes me think of some sort of a mystic, so I'll suggest Shaman.
I doubt you'll pick that one, but it's what I would go with from those pics alone.

KITTY!!!!
Oh, yeah, name..hm. Well, you say she's inquisitive, so maybe after a hunter/seeker type figure? I'd name her Artemis, but I have a thing for Greek mythology.

Hmmm, Artemis = Diana. I could call her Annie. I'll think about that. (Would love it more if my grandma wasn't Anne and I liked her more....)

Wow. So adorable.
That's what one of my cats would have looked like, were she a tabby instead of a torbie (tortoiseshell-tabby). Said cat is named Sarai, because that's Hebrew for 'quarrelsome,' which fits her quite well. She's an argumentative and stubborn cat.
Give it a day or two. Let her personality come out as she gets truly comfortable in the new home, and use a baby names website to hunt out meanings of names. If you have a specific language or culture that you'd like to use, you can usually narrow the search.
Congrats on the fluffiness, and invest in a Furminator. With that fur, it will be a lifesaver =)
