Grr...annoyed (kinda whiny, sorry)

Maybe it's because I'm sick and thus more cranky and irritable, but my upstairs neighbors are REALLY starting to irritate me with the loud music.

Granted, it's not even 9 p.m., they're well within the noise ordinances, but the easy listening R&B, "baby don't leave me even though I slept with all your friends, I still love you" crap is making me gag. Seriously, it reminds me of the McDonald's commercial where the guy is singing and upset because his girl went and got nuggets without him.

Granted, the antibiotics may be making me sick to my stomach, so that might be causing the gagging. I don't know.

Like I said, usually I'm more tolerant and whatnot, but for some reason, listening to their music through the ceiling is making me irritable. Then again, I'm also going stir crazy. I don't particularly like being idle, and being sick and forced idleness makes me even more cranky, I don't LIKE having to sit still. Yes, I'm resting and taking it easy and stuff to recuperate, but I have nothing new to read to occupy my time. Makes me kind of sad. I bought a new series last Saturday at Half Priced books when I was out with EQ, The Troy Game series by Sara Douglass. 4 books, easily 700 pages each, and I finished them by Tuesday/early Wednesday. Just by sheer virtue of reading them while on the bus to and from school/work.

<sigh>

Yes folks, I hate being sick. Not a good patient at ALL. And add to that the McNugget drivelly music and I am hard pressed not to go outside in only my chemise and knock on the door upstairs. Resist....

Distract me!!! halp halp...

and thus I end my rambly, fever & drug induced typing...

Uh............I have a map of Asheville, NC, and right underneath the bold red ASHEVILLE is "any way you like it" which brings up a whole lotta questions, like why the royal shit can't I find a bloody gay bar in the stupid town.

At some point remind me to have upgrade my computer so I can have a microphone so I can send you audio files of books on.....erm....WAV. xD I got a book of fairy tales in the mail, too.

Although I have a friend who is a rabid yaoi fangirl, and I'm her source for pretty much anything yaoi or shounen ai, anime wise, since I can DL torrents an' such. I think that can be managed and arranged. I just burn the series to a DVD or two to watch on computers, though. My poor laptop can't handle any of the software my desktop had that let me make viewable DVDs on the TV...
