Conversation between me and my coworker today

I was in the office only about five minutes before my coworker entered. My coworker is Irish. Sometime after she came in, I remember what day it was:

"Oh! Happy St. Patrick's Day!"
"Oh, yeah. Thanks."
"Damn, I forgot to wear green!"
"I forgot what day it was, but I'm wearing green." (Unnecessary for her to add, since I could see that she was.)

Pause.

"I'm wearing green knickers, too."

i'm sooo mental. for some odd reason i kept thinking it was on the 15th not the 17th. So I wore my special socks on Sunday - my pink Irish socks!

yes pink. They have cute green clovers on them and the words "I'M". only thing i ever liked from Old Navy.
