Default Games to play at work

Please feel free to add to this; and possibly suggest a funkier title. XD I'm looking for any game that can be transferred to a work setting, in the style of the ones I posted, please. That means no silly or unrealistic games, or ones that don't fit, please.

Slalom.

Props: One full trolley, several customers.

Push your full trolley in and out of the customers as you go about your duties. Remember that you are not allowed to hit any of the customers, no matter how tempting it is. Bonus points awarded for avoiding the customers who do the following:

* Suddenly stop dead in front of you.

* Run out in front of your trolley. (usually children)

* Seemingly are attempting to slam your trolley with their own.

Bingo.

Every staff member gets a card with the following customer sayings printed on it.

* It must be free!

* Working hard or hardly working?

* You look bored.

* Wow, it's quiet in here.

* The customer is always right.

* I haven't got all day.

* I only want one thing!

* You've ruined Christmas/Easter/my child's birthday/other milestone event!

* Made it this morning.

* Haha, ruined your break!

When a staff member hears one of these common saying, they can cross it off their scorecard. Getting all of them constitutes a Full House.

100 Metre Sprint (or however far it is to the breakroom)

This game is played whenever a member of staff has a fifteen or twenty minute tea break. The object of the game is to get to the safety of the staff only area before a customer can grab you and ask you a question, or request that you get them something.

Haven't done the first two, have definitely done the third one.

Don't forget lunchbreaks!

I thought of tea breaks mainly cuz where I work, you're timed from the moment you leave to the moment you get back. If you only have fifteen or twenty minutes, then if a customer stops you, that wastes precious minutes of your break. That's why now I'm at Petrol, I take my tea breaks round the back and only go over the store for lunch or supper breaks. XD

You take, I make

It was really slow one day at work and my CW and I made a corny game up. We would flip a coin and if I got heads I would take the customer and he would make the order or if I had tails, he would take the customer and I would make the order. We only do it on a very slow day. We can't do it when it's busy.

I have been a stay at home mom for too long now as that meant something completely different when I first read it.

I think I've played all those games at the retail jobs I've had. Most of the games we had were specific to the place I worked.

When I worked in a call center taking orders for "herbal products" (mainly weight loss pills and male enhancement pills) we had a little game of who got the largest number of old men with problems no pill would ever solve in an hour (I sadly, usually won) and the most times yelled at for accusing the customer of being fat or sexually dysfunctional (based on getting a piece of junk mail from our company, randomly).

For Number 2

BUZZWORD BINGO!

I play it during our Monday morning eye-glazer (2 hour teleconference)

At my old C-store, we frequently had to have one of the two entrance doors locked because the wind would blow it open. We had a big sign up saying "PLEASE USE OTHER DOOR!" and people would plow into it anyway, stand there for five minutes knocking on it before they finally saw the sign...

Anyway every time that happened we'd mark a little piece of paper and announce the tally out loud.

"TWENTY SEVEN!"

More to embarrass the customer than an actual game, I guess........

Still funny at the time.

We have this lady that comes into our store about twice a year to sell these cheap crappy knives. Problem? She makes announcements over the PA every so often and her voice drives me INSANE. Did I mention that you could get free knives as part of it? So part of her speech would put a LOT of emphasis on the word "FREE."

Anyway, the games we play with her are...

-How many times does she make the call in an 8 hour shift?
-How many times does she use the word FREE?
-How many of the free knives come through us.
-How many of the knives get bought?
And finally...
-What's the best way to cut/pull her cord? (poor Deli staff were right under a speaker where she could be heard)

I don't do games. Just sit on my jumpseat, pull the curtain and read Hello magazine and hope no-one bothers me!

Oh actually, I play a game. When passengers disembark I say cheerio instead of buh-bye if it's a hottie. Or I say apple-pie rather than buh-bye and see if anyone notices.
