Doing my hair...

I've been coloring my hair bright red for almost eight years now. I've been bored with it for a while, putting in highlights, lowlights, streaks, cuts, etc.

Right now, it's about halfway down my back and looks like this...

Tomorrow, I'm going to dye it...*gets box* "Blue-black."

Kinda nervous because it's a big change, but I'm kind of excited, too! I did my underneath patch test, and the underside of my hair is so pretty and shiny and turns the coolest bluish color in the light. Of course, I'm kind of pale so I'm going to end up looking gothy too.

URGH. FEAR CHANGE.

Well, wish me luck! Maybe after it's done I can borrow my cousin's camera to take a pic and show it off!

Im more pale than you are and my black hair looks great, it's very striking against my skin and makes my green eyes stand out (or so I have been told)

all I suggest is to be absolutly sure you want to go black. it's a bitch to get out if you change your mind. But I think you will look nice.

and take precautions: black dye is very hard to get out of towels/bathmats etc. and stains counters easily, also.

I'm at least that pale, if not more so, and I LOVED having black hair. I've always liked that contrast. Good luck!
