    Is there a 24-hour pharmacy near you? You might try calling them and asking a pharmacist directly.

      I'm not certain how long it takes to dissolve. I do know if it is Ambien CR then one of the layers is intended to dissolve more slowly. If it is just plain Ambien then it will be more quickly. It is possible that some of the pill was combined with the liquid and just not able to be seen.

      If you are worried that you did not get your appropriate dose, I'd definitely ask your pharmacist. That is what they are there for, med counseling!

        Speak to your, (or any) pharmacist, they will be able to help you.

        I'm sure you can find a 24hr pharmacy open, or a healthcare line that you can talk to.
        A PSA, if I may, as well as another.
