Thumbs up Front End Manager Stood Up For Me

Today, one of the checkers complained to the front end manager about me because I wouldn't give her the key for an override. When I was over there, the checker wasn't happy that I had to reach over the keyboard to do the override since I was blocked by customers and merchandise. I finally got over to the correct side of the register and did the override. The checker told me to stay away from her.

Luckily, the front end manager told the checker that I was only following policy. She even told the checker that she wasn't happy about her upsetting me and that I was extremely sensitive.

The checker will probably call the union. Hopefully, the union representative will tell her pretty much the same thing the front end manager did.
