Default How does this riddle really end?
We are having a riddle contest at work. Two holiday riddles are posted every day, scores are maintained over the week for most correct answers, and the winners get a Lemax village collection building whose box has some water damage and probably came in as free goods.

The riddle is: Why was Santa's little helper depressed?

Mind you, I'm not trying to get the answer to win the building. I don't even want it. I'm just posting this to share the creative answer I dropped in the box:

"Because Homer and Marge had him fixed."

Well, the right answer is because he had low 'elf' esteem.
