So one of the AMs was buying something, and he was making this big deal out of an item being on sale. Not like an SC, just being kinda loud about it, so I shot back:

Me - (assuming a playful smile) "Excuse me, _sir_, I'm going to have to ask you to lower your voice, or else I will have security escort you off the premises."
AM - (pretending to get indignant) "Oh, you did not just say that."
Me - "Go ahead. Say it. Tell me you'll never shop here again."
AM - "That's it! I'm taking my business elsewhere!"
Me - "Awwwwwwwwww really? You'd do that? Just for me??"

And we both had a good laugh.

Ahhhhh aw crap. Now I have to deal with a *real* customer. *sigh*

I do that with store clerks and waitresses sometimes. If something's going haywire, in a situation when an ordinary SC's scalp would be drilling through the ceiling from the force of their head exploding, I just sort of shrug and ask, "Is this the part where I demand to see a manager and threaten to have your job or something?" It helps if you can work up a yawn while you say it.
