One cold rainy day last week, we had one insane customer after another. To avoid problems, I began to keep my conversations cheerful, but more brief than usual... also excusing my self to go to the next aisle after giving them all the info they need (but checking back in a minute or two to see if they are still doing ok)
Many of these "customers" that day had been extremely moody and totally irrational... its as if hey released an entire mental institution and dropped them off into our store.
The following day had better weather and our customers were back to normal. But I still worry about handling irrational customers, they are oblivious to facts and bring their personal problems into the store....
I just want to do my job well, and hold on to it.
[Moderators..this rant isn't so much about a specific sucky customer, but dealing with a wave of irrational behavior so I put in in the General Forum, feel fee to move it if you like]
