  • Should Mothers(or fathers) get special treatment?

Oh this is such a big debate going on at my store.

Our inventory is coming up and just like every year dept managers have to work 1 day a weekend.

There is always this one who is a mother who says she can't and never as too.

Now all dept mngrs who are mothers want the same thing.

The mothers are saying that it should be up to the non mothers to work.

Now I am a mommy and find this soooo unfair.

I forgot to add the ones who are not moms are pissed(as they should be)

Also the store manager has no idea what he is going to do.

i say eithier everyone works or noone works.

Any manager who gives preferential treatment regarding days off, holidays, and/or vacations to parents just because they're parents, is unworthy of their position.

The childless have plans and families of their own too.

Store manager needs to sack it up and make sure all the managers are working their one day that weekend, as they are supposed to.

I invite and encourage you all to head on over to Fratching, which is, unlike this site, an actual debating site.

There you will be able to debate this topic to your heart's content.
