Dude, if you are going to attempt suicide, take something that can actually kill you ... learn to use a physicians desk reference...
I've known a few people like that. In my case he was claiming he had a terminal illness and had a few months to live... totally forgetting that I was friends with his best friend so when he didn't know of any such thing it made it obviously a ploy.

Surprise, surprise I was also being conned into paying his phone bill by topping up his phone (via mine) so he could talk to me. Today me looks and realises what a patsy I was at the time.

My exwife hit me with divorce papers on Dec. 22 2010, while I was in the hospital with a staf infection so bad that I was told that there was a decent chance that I would either lose my foot or die. Glad to say didn't die or lose foot. Somedays are easier than others when I think on this. Sone people shouldn't ever be in relationships if this is the way they treat people.

I just don't get this. Heck, I even went against my lawyers wishes who wanted to serve divorce papers to my (now) ex husband at work instead of at home, because 'there's a better chance he'll sign for them at work'.

Yeah, and there's also a chance he'd be humiliated needlessly too.

So when I hear shit like this, it makes me doubly angry because it's so insensitive and mean. I feel like I *can* judge, because I've been there...but I chose the high road.

Side note: He then, of course, acted like a total jackass at the final divorce hearing and made me almost regret taking said high road.
