Hell look at Jack LaLanne. He was lifting weights until he died. At 96 he was in better shape than people 1/6th his age

I've found that there's a small portion of the population who don't really believe there's any correlation at all between exercise and health, apparently believing that it's all determined by your genes, and nothing you do will make it better or worse... and that any exertion at all will put you in the ER. That's the only explanation I have for people who go a bit nuts when I tell them what I've been doing.....

Hey, I'm going to walk the dog - "WHat? It's 80 degrees out! You'll be sorry! You'll hurt yourself/get heatstroke/die!"

Hey, I'm going to dig a hole - "What? Wait till later in the year when it's not so hot! You'll hurt yourself/get heatstroke/die!"

Hey, I'm home - "What? You walked somewhere? You should've asked me for a ride! You'll be really sorry when you're too sore to get out of bed tomorrow!!!!"

And none of these "dire" predictions ever come true.
      - They say nothing good happens at 2AM, they're right, I happen at 2AM.
