Finding someone you served with in the Air Force

How do I go about finding people I went to tech school with in the Air Force from 1985? Yeah, that's 27 years ago...lol.
What would be the BEST way to start?

You might check to see if the tech school has an alum page... I was in the AF and went to the Defense Information school when it was at Ft Benjamin Harrison, Indiana in 1977, and found the DINFOS school web site. I was able to locate a number of my former classmates there.

I tracted down an old college friend just using Google.

Just to give you fair warning, you may not like what you find. I found my friend by finding her daughter's memorial. She was one of the victims of a high profile mass shooting.
