I found out today that I got the job I interviewed for yesterday. It is a 3 month contract assignment with a pharmaceutical company. It involves calling insurance companies to verify insurance coverage for a specific drug. I was advised that the top performers in the contract jobs are usually offered permanent, full time employment by the company. In fact, they said that all of the permanent jobs in that department are filled from within and that about 70% of the contract workers are kept on. I am excited, as I lost my previous job almost a year ago and have been searching all this time for a new one.
