Also, slight nitpick, but I do believe that Australian Cattle Dogs are also known as "Blue Heelers".

It's a Russian Blue trait, yes. My first Russian was a formerly-abused rescue cat, so, yeah, I didn't know *how* affectionate they were until I got this one. I'm pretty sure I could pet her to death and she'd come back as a ghost and be all, "who said you could stop petting?!"

As for the pooch, I have heard a few things about the breeds... that queensland and blue heelers are sub-sets with the darker coloring, that they're just other names for the same dog, I don't know. Maybe they just go by different names in different regions. I am pretty sure, though, that my dog's lineage may include at least one kangaroo, based on his hopping ability...

Actually, my home desk is a lot less crowded, mainly because I have other places for it.

The desk itself has:

* Two monitors (one for the desktop, one for the laptop)
* Laptop computer
* Remote for the Computer speakers
* Extra set of glasses
* Keyboard for the laptop. (along with a mouse and Everquest mouse pad)
* Keyboard and trackball for the desktop
* a bag of chips that'll be tossed out with the garbage tomorrow.
* A Krios Sideswipe transformer in Robot mode, and 4 Krions (Lego people that come with them).

Extending it to the printer stand, I also have:

* Walkman (being charged)
* Charging cables for Walkman, Tablet and phone/Kobo
