I was in the cafe today ringing up my coworker's food, which I had already made for him. He is a gentle, humble person, so when his card was declined, he apologized and went to sit down. I was about to ask my sup, who was standing there, if we could just give it to him. But I took the next customer, whom I could tell was on a break from working in the mall, and in a hurry, before I dealt with the situation at hand. Well, that next customer paid for his drink, and as I was getting his change, was digging in his pockets. He paid for my coworker's meal. It was so sweet. And he was cute and not married (that I know of--no ring), heehee!
