Plano, TX: cop writes a motorist a ticket for expired registration, even though the motorist explained that he couldn't get it renewed because he didn't have the money & chose to feed his kids instead.

Inside the ticket was a $100 bill to cover the cost of the registration.

Unless things have changed, all the motorist will have to do is show the judge that he renewed his registration and he won't have to pay anything.

yeah sorry bout that.

my bf's from texas and according to him it's a "fix it" kind of ticket - not a "fine" ticket. unless you don't fix it of course.
