A few months ago, my gf and I were out running some errands one evening, just after dark. We decided to swing through the sub shop on the way home to grab dinner. The place was pretty dead, though one person did pull into the drive-thru just before us. We got up to place our order, did so, and pulled around only to see no trace of the person in front of us. Now, I know JJ is fast, but damn! So we pull up to the window and the guy working says " The guy in front of you changed his mind and took off, but we already had his coke made up, so do you guys want it? We said sure, cuz, ya know, free soda. Then the worker said " Another thing, we usually sell our day old bread, but we have a couple loaves that are getting close to the throwout time. They are still good, but i don't think they are gonna get sold so would you guys like them?" Again, we said yes. We left that place feeling like winners cuz we got a free coke and 2 free loves of french bread. Thank you, JJ guy.
