Because I do not do Facebook, I just found out via a phone call from my sister that one of our former co-workers, who had worked with us at the swamp for several years and we considered her our "work mom," passed away yesterday, apparently from an aggressive form of breast cancer.
Y'know, I had been wondering why I never saw her in the store any more. She couldn't have been very old. I would guess she was in her mid or late 40s when she died. She had a younger child when she was working with us.
So, "Sandy," Godspeed wherever you are. Thanks for listening to us vent and thanks for the advice on how to deal with Harry when we felt we couldn't any more. I'll miss seeing you in the store calling me Todd.
