  • Greetings from the crazy world of phone customer service!

First off.....I cannot believe I never knew this site existed. Oh my, we are all such kindred spirits.

Secondly.....I cannot wait to share some of my more bizarre stories. Taking orders over the phones and fixing the issues of some of our less pleasant customers gives me a deep well to draw stories from.

Although, I must say that some of my best stories come from when I worked at my local public library. There are true gems there.

      Thanks.

Just finished a long shift. I work from home, so on top of my scheduled shifts, I have on call shifts as well. Today, I got to work an on call shift before my scheduled shift. Let's just say I'm tired.

Customers were goofy today. At least I didn't get yelled up, which when they want XYZ cardigan sweater and it's no longer available in the size and color they want, I get yelled at. Good times.

Is there a full moon coming soon?

That explains everything.....and also why corporate would decide to do a 30% off your order Friends and Family event right now. Life is going to be just grand for the next week or so.

            Hello there.
Customers should always be served . . . to the nearest great white.
