Favorite Waitress Moving On -- A Question

Once a week, my husband and I go to Buffalo Wild Wings to enjoy happy hour. We have the best waitress. She's friendly and offers excellent service.

We were happy and sad when she told us today that she'll be leaving after next week. We're sad we won't have her service anymore, but thrilled she's moving on to other things. She works so hard!

We'll probably leave an extra large tip. I know she likes nail polish -- would it be weird to give her a small gift certificate to Sally Beauty or Target or something? I'd buy her nail polish, but I don't know what she has or likes, other than she once mentioned wanting a silver/chrome.

You may want to ask her if she is going to work at another restaurant so you can still enjoy her service. I have had many customers follow me to a new establishment.
