Actually I'm not even sure it was him, but ... I don't think Elizabeth Moon is popular with the younger people here. But that's just a assumption, I know.
But even if it was him... going over to a stranger and whining at him that he had the book I wanted - the one I'd put down cos I wasn't decided over it - would be rather EWish.
Not to mention it would have been rather ironic, since it the book was "Echoes of Betrayal" - 3rd sequel following the Deed of Paksenarrion.
What would Paks do? Not pick a fight with a complete stranger, I'm sure.
I did whine a little to my BF though.
Not about the guy, but about the fact book that I'd wanted was already gone.
