Over the weekend our GM decided to make work a little more interesting. Normally we have the really sucky music that corp. picked, but the GM decide to get everyone in the mood.

GM: <on pa>Attention all customers and associates, on this lovely fall day we invite all of you to come to the front of aisle XX and participate in the YMCA.
Me: <laughing> about 30 seconds later, the YMCA is blasted over the PA and the GM, several managers along with a few customers are doing the YMCA.

The non-YMCA participants are either staring or laughing hysterically at the sight.

Later in the day he played The Trashmen's "Surfin' bird", then asked random employees if we knew the bird is the word.

Me thinks someone was bored.

One time in school during spring, they suddenly started playing 'Let it snow' over the intercom... why? Cause it was snowing.

Never did get to do the YMCA though. When the had karaoke at the casino I worked at, I led the entire table insinging a nice version Drift Away.
