For some reason he didn't really get to me, I think it's because the recurring thought "I don't tell you where to spend your money" kept coming up. AND THEN HE CAME BACK LAST NIGHT AND COMPLAINED ABOUT THE PRICES MORE. I thought it was hysterical. Obviously he hated us so much he just HAD to come back! Yup we're totally gonna shut down, what with our loyal customers. Asshat was just trying to get shit for free.

This is partially from good management and the fact that I had a huge list of stuff I was supposed to be doing and this guy was wasting my time, losing my sympathy really quickly. We are allowed to be fairly flexible at my job, but the AARP discount is something that has been really strictly reinforced by corporate and we have a big notice about it behind the counter (Sadly only visible to us but I can still grab it if I have to). No exceptions. When there's something like that there to back you up, and you know you'll get in trouble if you bend the rules, you feel a lot more comfortable telling someone no. But thank you! That means a lot to hear.

This sounds like the SC that came into my Timmies one night a couple of weeks ago and asked where the "little Packie girl" was (she has dark skin but she's Israeli) and then proceeded to rant and rave about the "junglebunny" music on the radio.
