    I haz a sad :(

    Found out this morning that my grandmother--my last living grandparent--has died. I was hoping to see her this weekend, for her 90th birthday party. She actually turned 90 over the summer, but because her health hadn't been great, we had to delay it a bit. Anyway, Grandma's health had been declining over the past year or so--she had a possible stroke, several falls, one of which left her with a broken neck and weak enough to be confined to a wheelchair.

              My condolences, though 90 years was a good long life. Just think, from damned near horse and buggy to men on the moon, and soon a landing on a comet.
              EVE Online: 99% of the time you sit around waiting for something to happen, but that 1% of action is what hooks people like crack, you don't get interviewed by the BBC for a WoW raid.

                        My condolences. I only have my step grandma left . This Christmas will mark one year since I lost my Granddad, the last of my biological grandparents. He had a stroke. We all still joke and laugh (he had a good sense of humor) at the many memories and there are still tears. Hold on to the good memories.

                              So sorry for your loss. All of my grandparents have passed on - my one grandad I never even met (he died before I was born). My children only have one grandparent left as well. Getting old sucks! But again, so sorry for your loss
