In fact, there are 20 of them.

The fact that jellyfish have survived for 650 million years despite not having brains gives hope to many people.

You would have to be incredibly dense for the world to revolve around you.

I can see my ex-coworker doing this crap. He was an IT guy with no computer skills. Let that sink in.
This site proves Corey Taylor right. Man really is a "four letter word."

I'm now using my Deviant Art page to post my humor.

        "But it was working before"

Yes, and as a general rule, all things will keep working, right up to the point where they break, thats' where we are now, don't try to argue that.

There was something like that on Top Gear once, when the lads were in Albania. Clarkson was driving a "Bentley" (really a Yugo, subbed in for a Bentley because Bentley wouldn't let them have the car they were supposed to be testing) that had various problems over the course of the show. At one point they have to get an Albanian mechanic out to take a look at it. Clarkson's description of the problem: "Okay, working, then stopped."

Hammond rightfully pointed out that this describes most accidents. "Working, then stopped."

Dear God, the argument I recently had with a co-worker...

"This isn't the same as it usually is!"
"Well, what did you do differently?"
            "Nothing!"
"Is it in a different mode? A different format? Did someone change the overlay or the source directory?"
            "No! Nothing's different!"
"Are you at the same terminal? Did someone reboot the system and wipe a setting? Are you using someone else's login?"
"No! Nothing's different! Everything's exactly the same! We did it EXACTLY THE SAME!"
"Uh...by definition, if you're getting different results than you usually get, everything is not exactly the same. Something, somewhere, in the process is different."

For a moment, you could hear the gears in her brain grinding against each other as she struggled to process this. "Well..." she began, then didn't really have anything to follow it up with. I forget how I got her off the phone, but she at least seemed to agree that there wasn't anything I could do to help her.

"Just show me where I can buy disks of the internet!"

              -Sure. It's called Neverland.

And I'm not sure with #2 if the beating they received would be considered justified, but I bet a good lawyer could make a case out of it...
