This is a very belated rant from about a year ago.
Just over a year ago I moved to middle of nowhere Texas (from my lovely san diego) I got a job working for the closest May company store that would turn in to the store I'd left in s.d. I actually went in on a positive note. I was more than happy to tell people about things Macys carried and didn't carry. As well as correct them about false beliefs. Some didn't care, some liked the info.
This one lady though, was an absolute PAIN.
"but doesn't macys carry onlys things that are over $1000"
me: "no. "
"yes they do. In the Last Call store"
"Last call isn't macys"
"Yes it is. "
"no. It isn't. Federated is Bloomingdales and Macys"
Lady- "And Last Call"
Me-eye twitching "No."
Lady becomeing livid "YOu don't know when you're talking about"
After she starts insisting to a passing cow-worker that she is right an dI am wrong, I get fed up and stalk off.

Oh, I just hate it when customers pretend to know your corporate structure and holdings more than you do.

SC: Why can't I get [Wine Brand] here?
Me: Because a different winery makes that, and we do not own that winery.
SC: Yes you do.
Me: No, we do not.
SC: YES. YOU DO. I buy it at your other location in the city.
Me: We have no other location in the city. You are thinking of [Other Wine Store].
SC: IT'S THE SAME CHAIN OF STORES!
Me: I'm afraid it is not.
SC: Well, why not?
