  • Heart attacks aren't all THAT bad...

Customer is very upset that tech didn’t show up to install service. It appears the work order has been rescheduled due to no one being home when the technician arrived. Customer states we’re a “bunch of liars” and that “if a customer has an ambulance in his yard, you should assume that he’s home.” Apparently, the customer was taken to the hospital but feels the tech should have stayed & installed services while he was being put in the ambulance.

Um, yeah, I'd be worried about cable/internet installation if I was having a heart attack, too. After all, I want something to do while the paramedics are tending to me and loading me into the ambulance.

I don't know. I must be weird. My main thought during every one of my heart attacks (I'm up to 4 now so I'm getting pretty good at it. ) is whether or not I was ever going to come home, thinking whether I told people I loved and appreciated them the last time I saw them and hoping if I did go that my family didn't witness it. I couldn't have cared less about my cable/phone/internet at the time.

Vaguely related, my first worry when I had my stroke was getting hold of the DM for my D&D group to let him know I probably wouldn't be at the meeting that weekend. Seriously. It never crossed my mind to call 911.

Good lord, man. Where are your priorities, thinking only about your family at a time like that? I mean, we're talking cable here.

Now that's a gamer! All we need is junkfood and a place to play! Those are our priorities! Marry me! You get a gamer girl that cooks and I get out of the USA.

LOL Reminds me of when my dad broke his thumb. They were going to plaster to the ends of his fingers. Instead he convinced them to just plaster to where the fingers join the hand as he had to play guitar that weekend. 20 years later he still plays as if he has his hand in a cast!

I've got swarms of gamer girls, first off, second, I live in the US.
Seriously, I collect gamer girls. They're my replacement for dolls. Oh, you may be forced to do some bizarro cosplay, just as a warning.

Edit: I just realized where you got the idea I'm outside the US. *points at her avatar* Big clue there as to why I'm in 'London'...

My film prof told me this story:

A lighting technician had an accident incolving a sharp knife which had cut deeply into his shoulder. He was bleeding profusely while his friends called the ambulance. When the paramedics arrived, he was pale and weak. But before he let them treat him, he demanded they first call his boss to tell him of the problem and how sorry he was that he would be late for the shoot. His boss wouldn't have fired him, he would have cared if he was alright, but the guy was so wound up with his job, the filming took precidence over his own health.

What the hell would you find at an $11 store? Candles? Maybe economy size cereal? What?

Yeah, and I'm way too much a fan of the cock for that. Plus, Texas was WAY to hot for me.

Damn, well.... What about you Raps? Get me out of this country? We can get a divorce as soon as the citizenship clears.... Mmmm.... Then I'll be almost to Ireland. Any Irish guys here?
