  • The mistake has been in your favour...

so why are you being a sucky?

ok gang - tell me this.

Like all things in society these days, there are T&C's (terms & conditions).

This person rang in to buy something she was no longer entitled to, and shouldn't have been for the last half-dozen times.

Naturally, cos of who I am, I said no, and she will be sent a bill instead (don't ask, it's easier to just smile and nod).

Her argument (cos, of course, that's what it turned into) was that a) she didn't know (hate that... yeah ok, there's T&C's, but I shouldn't have to know them nor be aware of what they mean... grrr), and b) if she's 'gotten away with it' before, she should be allowed to again...

What is so difficult to understand that, because the system didn't stop you buying more than you should, it is actually YOUR responsibility, and just accept that you got away with more than you should - so wear the consequences???

Besides which... whether it's at 1 over your limit, or 200 - it still doesn't matter - you still get a bill, and it's still your responsibility, and the same consequences still apply.

    So... what's your grief??
When I said "From my research", what I actually meant to say was "Made shit up" - from a thottbot thread
